When clicking "New Chat" - the new chat should be automatically the focus of the app, and the cursor should be ready to type in the chat box. This should be true on mobile and on desktop.
Right now, you click "New Chat" and it makes a new entry in the sidebar, but you have to actually click on it to get the chatbox to come up. This is confusing users, which is evident from my screen session recordings.
